For some time, we at Strength With In Me Foundation (S.W.I.M) having been working, campaigning, seeking support from MPs and forming an All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) to have healthy relationships taught as compulsory in all U.K schools.

Now that the government has finally implemented this crucial change, we can finally work directly with you to instill the next generation with the knowledge they need to face the challenges that are confronting them more now than ever before.

According to Women’s Aid Domestic Violence now affects 1 in 4 women from all classes and backgrounds. Most recently, it was revealed that girls aged 16-24 are most at risk of some form of Domestic Violence.

Did you know?

  • 1 in 5 U.K teenage girls has been assaulted by a boyfriend.
  • Teenage girls are more likely to experience sexual violence than other age groups.
  • Recent surveys (including NSPCC, Zero Tolerance and End Violence Against Women campaign) reveal that approximately 40% of our young people are already being subjected to relationship abuse in their early teenage years.
  • Almost half of the children deemed to be in need of council support were victims of Domestic Abuse.
  • 9 in 10 children who are victims of Domestic Abuse developmental problems.

S.W.I.M is our pioneering approach to addressing domestic abuse. We raise awareness and promote healthy relationships by equipping young people with the emotional tools to avoid, combat and leave toxic relationships.
